For me, both personally and as President of a family-owned company, the holidays are a time to reflect and acknowledge what I am thankful for over the last year. I think we can all agree that the last number of years have been quite a wild ride with COVID taking front stage followed by supply shortages, back orders, and more. While the hurdles Air Control Home Services has had to overcome are many, we can confidently say our company has come out of these last few years stronger than ever.
This year Air Control had some amazing accomplishments. For the fourth year in a row, we were named to the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing, privately-owned companies in the United States. We were also acknowledged nationally for our stellar employee engagement. And have increased our Google review count to over 1,300 at a 4.9-star ranking.
Donations and community involvement have been a big focus for us in 2022. We were able to partner with Lake Havasu City and the Make Havasu Beautiful Committee to plant trees on the island path for Arbor Day. We’ve also given donations to local kids’ sports teams, the Humane Society, the food bank, local teachers, and many other local event programs. It has been our honor to give back to the community that supports us!
Our future is bright, and we are excited for what the next year will bring. At the start of 2023, we will be rolling out our HVAC apprenticeship program. We plan to take 4-6 students and pay them to learn the trade and onboard with our company. We also will be moving into our new building which will allow us to be more efficient and continue to look for ways to improve our customer service experience.
And while all these accomplishments and future achievements are great, it does not fall lightly on us that we could not do this without our customers. We know there are many choices out there and we thank you for trusting us with the comfort of your home. We are proud to have been serving this community for the last 33 years. Here’s to a great year, and a wonderful holiday season. May peace, joy, and prosperity follow you into the New Year.
Happy Holidays,
Amanda Zink
President
